Annie Alonzi is an artist, living and working in Austin TX. Her frenetic, hyper-detailed watercolor paintings and ballpoint-based illustrations are mainly concerned with human and animal forms, as well as the intersection of the two. Much of her work deals with illusions, entropy and transcendence. She is fascinated by secret codes, chaos, bacteria, maps and patterns.

In addition to creating paintings and illustrations Annie enjoys working with textiles, riding her bicycle, cooking food and breathing oxygen.

Annie is currently serving an tattoo apprenticeship under Scott Ellis at Triple Crown Tattoo (www.triplecrowntattoo.com). She is eagerly looking forward to the day when she can begin applying tattoos to human skin.
